Donations
We are a non-profit professional association and we welcome your donations.
The IBA is a volunteer-run board with limited, albeit dedicated staff responsible for carrying out our goals. We currently operate without a core budget and most of the IBA’s activities are self-funded. It is only through the participation of its members and the generous donations of its benefactors that the IBA is able to continue to operate on a year-to-year basis.
Should you have any questions concerning potential donations to the IBA, please email president@indigenousbar.ca for further information.
The Indigenous Bar Association (IBA) is anon-profit professional association for First Nation, Inuit and Métis persons trained in the field of law.
The IBA is requested from time to time to provide a list of its members, usually for the purpose of seeking legal or employment services. Up to now, the IBA has not distributed its membership list to the public.
By donating, you agree to have your name included on a list of Indigenous lawyers/consultants that can be made available to the public (i.e. Website).
