Treaty Commissioner of Saskatchewan -Office of the Treaty Commissioner (OTC)

The Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations and OTC is seeking applications for the Treaty Commissioner of Saskatchewan. The applications should include a cover letter clearly stating the areas of expertise and reasons for interest along with a curriculum vitae or resume with two (2) professional references, one (1) personal reference and a biography. Additionally, applicants must be bondable and submit a Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sector Search.

Qualifications:

Education

• Relevant post-secondary education.

• Juris Doctor degree or have specific legal related experience.\

Experience

• Experience within First Nation Governance, business, general and financial management.

• Must have community-based traditional knowledge and be knowledgeable about the history of Treaties and the Office of the Treaty Commissioner.

Salary is based on an established grid and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
